Neuma 4 CAM

This is a cam (CAM) developed by Neuma for pen-type rotary machines.
Normally, the machine comes with four cams with different stroke cycles, but these cams are sold separately for additional or replacement use. Stroke lengths of 2.75 mm, 3.6 mm, and 4.2 mm are supported.
Each stroke cycle is characterized by the hardness or flexibility of the needle against the skin as well as the speed of the piston as the needle moves in and out of the cartridge tip. Generally, the lower the percentage, the faster the hand movement.

20% cam (liner): good for all-around use, ideal for lines with fast hand movement.
28% Cam (Shedder): Ideal for fast shading and color blending.
33% cam (blender): soft blacks and grays, ideal for slow shading with ink mixing and layering
40% cam (Packer): Ideal for slow hand fills and color packing of blacks and grays.
